Synocus’ “IT and innovations 2008” survey was featured in Finnish IT magazines Digitoday and IT-viikko on Monday August 18th, 2008. The aim of the research was to find out the expectations in Finland for IT solutions for innovations and innovation processes. According to the research, large Finnish companies actively look for solutions supporting innovativeness. Somewhat surprisingly, the research shows that the large Finnish companies put more emphasis on business competence than on the IT competences of the solution providers. The research also suggests an orchestrated network of vendors to be an increasingly viable operating model in large-scale IT renewal cases.

Glocal China Beijing week was held successfully on 2nd-6th of June in Tsinghua University. The mission of China Study week is to help participating managers and directors of foreign multinational companies and foreign organizations understand China and therefore improve the smooth and efficient business ability to hold the corporative and developmental opportunities in China. Embracing Finland promotion meeting in Beijing

Embracing Finland promotion meeting was held in Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce on 4th of June, 2008. Ms. Cheng Yuhua, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Mr. Juho Rissanen, Counselor of Science and Technology of Finnish Embassy to China and Mr. Wu Jinxi, Professor of Tsinghua University attended the meeting and also gave speeches. Synocus Group signed an agreement of cooperation with Advanced Systems Development Co., Ltd (ASDC) on 5th of June, 2008. ASDC is a software service provider with its majority owned by Tsinghua Tongfang Corporation.
